This college functions with the philanthropic aim of enlightening the unprivileged through education. Quality education in a safe and ragging free background with adequate facilities and infrastructure have been ensured to the students. The campus maintains gender equity, environmental consciousness and inclusive education. Ethics and code of conduct suggested by statutory bodies like UGC, NAAC, and Directorate of Collegiate Education are adhered to by the management.

The college carries extension activities in the adopted villages by NSS volunteers with the motto of “reaching the masses”. The values are prompted by programmes as Swatch Bharat, Unnat Bharat Abiyan, Skill India, etc. Solar power is utilized to the possible extent, rainwater harvesting system is implemented in the campus. Students of this college excel in Yoga, Fine Arts and sports and have bagged national level awards and honours.
